What if... it rains?

What if my zone should be watered once per 10 days, but it was raining on that day? Will Rachio postpone the watering to another day or just skip it? I would guess that it should depend on the amount of precipitation, right?

If you:

  1. are using a fixed or as needed schedule
  2. have rain skip enabled and
  3. it rains more than your rain threshold within 24 hours of your schedule run
Then yes, your watering will skip (not postpone). Hope that helps.

@Vlad Another option if you would like more dynamic scheduling is to try out a flex schedule.

You can create one here https://flex-app.rach.io and they will be re-introduced officially in our next software release.
