I am in the process of researching the best option to replace my Irrigation Caddie networked controller and like many others in this forum I really need the zone delay feature. I don't have a water well, but I blow out my sprinklers each season with a 5 gallon air compressor in my garage and I need to program in a 3 min zone delay to allow the air compressor to "catch up" and build pressure for the next zone. Otherwise I have to manually cycle through the zones which is fine, but with my old-style Hunter controller that had a zone delay i would start the compressor, run the program with delays and then check back an hour later and it was all blown out.
Yes i know i can include dead zones but then i am forced to buy the 16 zone unit and I only have 7 zones + this delay feature is already included in some of your competitors systems.
As soon as i see this option has been included in the next software update it becomes a "no-brainer" Christmas purchase for me.
Another feature i like in a competitor's system is a "water hammer" option which opens the valve for the next zone right before closing the prior valve. Just throwing that out there.
