Is the iro able to send a notification if there is a weeping valve, or main line leak, without using a flow meter?
No.
But it would be cool if it could somehow link to smart water meters using AMI technology.
Is the Hunter flow clik compatible with Rachio to shut down the system in the event of a broken head or pipe? There is no good reason why it would not work.

It should work without a problem. Follow Hunter’s instructions and connect it to the rain sensor terminals on the Rachio controller. If you already have a rain sensor, connect the Flow Clik in series with the rain sensor per the Hunter instructions.
