What is the best way to monitor soil moisture. I would love to see a wifi sensor that if soil moisture is good it puts controller into a delay. (Ifttt)

There are a few that exist.
2 have been mentioned on this forum.
For now you have to use ifttt to bridge the air gap.

Before I installed Rachio, I had a Toro Evolution controller with the Toro Precision Soil Sensor. It’s performance was good and so much better than just a plain controller. However Rachio is much better and I’ve been very impressed. I am all for water conservation. So many new gadgets to try.
