have y’all thought about investing in a real time soil monitoring station that could provide actual soil condition back to the rach.io?
I second this request. I have some areas with hard clay soil and I’d love some definitive (automated) way to know that I am watering to the desired depth. Previous owners watered too short and too often and therefore my grass has very shallow roots… I’m trying to change that!
I third this. Schedules could be completely done away with if there was a network of moisture sensors in each zone. It would only water when the sensor said the soil needed it.
p.s. If you do make moisture sensors, please make them so they cannot be stolen easily (e.g. wired to central box, hidden beneath the soil, etc.)
