Has anyone used the parrot flower power with Rachio using IFTTT? If so does it work well?

The Flower Power unit connects to your phone/tablet via bluetooth, not wifi. Therefore you must have the app running on your device and within range to get data from Flower Power. I looked into it and thought it was just too much of a hassle. It also requires BT 4.0 which many older devices do not have. I thought about getting a cheap Android tablet just to sync the Flower Power but with the BT 4.0 requirement it wasn’t worth it.
