I have just purchased a Gen 3 Rachio and switching from a Hunter X-Pro. I can tell where all wires go in the new Rachio except for the red and black sensor wires. Can anyone help me determine where the red and black wire go specifically in the new Rachio?
@ddelarosa7777 - a hard wired sensor will go to the S1 and -24VAC terminals. See:
Then enable a rain sensor in the app on S1.

Does the red or black wire go in S1 and which one goes in -24VAC? Does it matter?
@ddelarosa7777 - it doesn’t matter, but black is normally associated with - so I’d put red on S1 and black on -24VAC.
