Mounting Rachio Gen 2 or 3 to Cinder Block Wall

Has anyone mounted their Rachio Generation 2 or Rachio 3 controller to a cinder block wall? I am looking to mount a Rachio 3 controller indoors on a cinder block wall, and was wondering how to go about this. What size and type drill bit would I need to do this, and would I need different anchors than the ones that are provided in the box?

Also would I need to get a hammer drill to mount it, or would a regular power drill work for this application?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Not a hammer drill. Regular drill will work. Purchase the right size concrete bit with the anchors. Make sure the screws head fits inside the countersunk opening on the unit itself. You’ll be fine. Good luck!
