I think rain sensors are good backups for scenarios like @scorp508 had, however I agree that ultimately they shouldn’t be necessary, especially if you have a good weather station nearby!

Sorry, have had no need for a rain sensor. I am just two miles from the NOAA weather station at Wiley Post airport. If it did rain and Rachio watered, i dont care.

That’s fine, your choice. I live 3 miles from the closest NOAA weather station (also at an airport) and my choice is to remain using my rain sensor. :slight_smile:

Ok problem fixed and as usual, I’m the culprit! So no one else makes the same mistake as me, only activate one sensor and not two like I did which is why I had the issue of the sensor not activating/deactivating. Thanks to those who responded and attempted to help me fix my issue. I apologize for my mistake.
