Grass Cutting

Did I go to low if I see a bit of brown in my Bermuda after cutting? I have Tifway which can go low, and I try not to cut more than 1/3 of the blade at any time, but this past cut developed a bit of brown.

You’re correct about not cutting more than 1/3 of the height.
Generally grasses here in the desert should not be mowed more than 1/3 of the height of the lawn. Doing so will cause the “burned” appearance also known as “scalping”. During the hottest times of summer, the height of cut should be raised to help insulate the base of the grass.
