Can always just turn on a zone manually in the app or physically punch the button on the controller to do so. Is that what you mean?

timer clocks have a simple “run all zones for one minute each” button. No programming, no smart phone. Just a one touch button anyone can figure out.
That simple option/feature is a lifesaver for us.
I agree in my opinion this Rachio is waste of money. If it was so simple to use why are there thousand of post of people asking for help? The only thing good about this system is the ability to use your phone to turn the system on and off.
