Daily Flex: AWC Setting?

Hi all,

I’m still working on fine tuning my Daily Flex and am confused about Available Water.

My soil is Hastings Silt Loam and the NRD states that the AWC is 2.3" of water for the top 1 foot of soil. At 2 feet it’s 4.3" and at 3 feet it’s 6.3".

It looks like the maximum input for Available Water in the Rachio app is .20". I’m confused. Am I misunderstanding AWC?

Never mind. I was seeing inches instead of feet (top post corrected).

So I’m assuming that if my soil will hold 2.3" of water in the top foot of soil, my Available water would be .19 (2.3/12), correct?
