Although the Gen 2 is the most feature packed irrigation system on the market, however, it lacks local control;
It would be great in next release of software / firmware upgrade to have the ability to control the sprinkler controller locally using local IP without the use of your cloud software;some users want to integrate the controller to their internal network and right now, I was told that it is not possible (they have to connect to your cloud service in order to connect to their controller.
This feature will be gladly welcome as many forums complain about this inability or Rachio iro and Gen2.
