Hi Guys, just picked up my Rachio gen 2. Is there any reason I shouldn’t mount the box in my basement? With accessibility through the app I don’t see the need to have it in the garage.

@Steef21 Sounds like a perfect place to mount it, unless you will miss all the cool light patterns that the controller goes through 
It seems to me that the only reasons not to would be (a) if your wiring for your sprinkler system can’t conveniently reach there, or (b) your WiFi signal is poor in your basement.
