What you need to know before you buy a Rachio!
I am looking for a controller to replace my WeatherTrak ET Controller that I’ve had for many years. It needs cell-coverage to get its weather data. Our cell phone service has changed and the WeatherTrak is now unable to get its data. I understand that the Rachio 3 uses only WIFI to get its weather info? If it needs any kind of cellular, then it won’t work here. Also, my WeatherTrak needed a separate rain sensor to detect rain – I understand that a separate device is not necessary with Rachio 3?
